Find your serial number.
Lumielina asks for the device's serial number when you submit a claim. Locate yours before you start the form to make the process fast.
Open the handle and look for a 12-digit alphanumeric code printed on the base near the cord entry. Format typically: XXX-XXXXXXXXX. Also printed on the original box label.
Look at the underside of the barrel near the handle joint — small printed label with a 12-digit alphanumeric code. Same number is printed on the original box.
Tip the device upside-down — serial sticker on the bottom near the cord entry. Same code is also printed on the power adapter label and on the box.
Snap a photo of your serial number sticker the day you receive a device and save it to your BTD account email — saves you time the day you ever need to file a claim.

Pro & salon use — read this carefully.
Bioprogramming devices come with a standard 6-month limited warranty from the date of purchase — this fully covers Pro and salon use during that initial period.
Translation for stylists: your professional Bioprogramming devices are warranted for the first 6 months. After that, repairs are out-of-warranty — though Lumielina will quote a repair fee (parts + labor + shipping) and handle it directly.

- −Use outdoors, in vehicles, on planes/trains/ships
- −External factors (weather, power outages/surges, natural disasters)
- −Unofficial replacement parts or unauthorized repairs
- −Devices purchased from unauthorized resellers
- −Shipping damage (file directly with the shipping carrier)
- −Commercial-use devices beyond the initial 6-month period

WARRANTY TERMS. Bioprogramming devices are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of six (6) months from the date of purchase, when used for purposes in accordance with these terms & conditions.
The initial Limited Warranty period for all Bioprogramming devices can be extended up to a maximum of eighteen (18) months from the date of purchase with an approved extension via an approved product registration. In order to be eligible for the extension of the initial Limited Warranty period, the Bioprogramming device must be registered within the original six (6) month Limited Warranty period. This extension to the initial Limited Warranty period is being offered by LUMIELINA USA, INC. at its sole discretion.
This Limited Warranty is only valid in the U.S.
WHAT IS COVERED. Your Bioprogramming device is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of six (6) months from the date of purchase or eighteen (18) months from date of purchase with an approved extension, when used correctly in accordance with the Bioprogramming Safety Guide and Operating Manual. Should a claim be approved, this Limited Warranty provides, at no extra cost to you, all labor and parts necessary to ensure your device is in proper operating condition during the Limited Warranty period.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED. After the initial six (6) month Limited Warranty period, this Limited Warranty will not apply to any device that does not have proof of purchase and a successful extension. Furthermore, after the initial six (6) month Limited Warranty period, this Limited Warranty shall not apply to any Bioprogramming device which is determined to have been used in any non-consumer, i.e. commercial service capacity such as by a hair stylist in a hair salon. Said determination shall be at the sole discretion of LUMIELINA USA, INC.
This Limited Warranty does not apply to: devices with altered or removed serial numbers; cosmetic damage (nicks, scratches, finish wear); normal wear and tear; damage to the power cord; purchase from an unauthorized retailer/distributor; shipping damage (file directly with carrier); damage from external factors (weather, power outages/surges, natural disasters); damage from negligent handling, drops, misuse, use outdoors, use in vehicles or on planes/trains/ships, incompatible voltage, foreign objects, neglect of safety instructions; use of unofficial parts; or repairs by unauthorized parties.
EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS. Any implied warranties, obligations, or liabilities relating to your Bioprogramming device — including but not limited to the implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose — shall be limited to the initial six (6) month duration of this written Limited Warranty. In no event shall LUMIELINA USA, INC. be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. This Limited Warranty is for the original purchase of the product and is not transferable.
AFTER-SALES SERVICE. Exchange of a defective device is at the sole discretion of LUMIELINA USA, INC. After the Limited Warranty period (or any extension) has ended, if it is determined that the device is repairable, repairs will be carried out after an additional fee — composed of parts, labor, and shipping/handling — is requested and paid by the customer.
