Pro account
How do I apply for a Pro account?
Pro accounts are reserved for licensed beauty professionals and salon operators. Apply from the Pro application page — it's a four-step form (Identity, Salon, License, Intent). Applications are reviewed manually, usually within 48 hours. Once approved, your customer account is tagged as Pro and you unlock wholesale pricing, priority shipping, and access to technical education materials.
What are the benefits of a Pro account?
Verified Pro accounts see wholesale pricing on every device and Hair Care Line product, get priority shipping windows, and are listed on the BTD Stylist Locator — the directory clients use to find authorized salons. Pro accounts also receive invitations to Lumielina-authored education sessions when a new density class is released.
Can a client or consumer buy from BTD directly?
No. BTD does not sell direct-to-consumer. Every device and Hair Care Line product is distributed through licensed salons on the Stylist Locator. If you're a client looking to purchase, use the locator to find the nearest authorized stylist. Devices listed outside the BTD network are not guaranteed genuine in the United States.
How long does Pro approval take?
Applications are reviewed within 48 business hours. If we need clarification on your license or salon information, a member of our team will reach out to the email provided. Approval unlocks pricing immediately on your next login.
Orders & shipping
What is your shipping policy?
All Lumielina devices ship free within the United States. Orders placed before 2 PM PT on a business day ship the same day; otherwise they ship the next business day. Standard ground delivery typically lands in 2–5 business days depending on your region.
HairTimecess orders ship via ground to protect formula integrity during transit.
Do you ship internationally?
BTD is the authorized US distributor for Lumielina Bioprogramming, so we ship within the 50 United States. International Pro accounts may be arranged case-by-case — reach out at hello@beautytechdistribution.com for region-specific availability.
How do I track my order?
A tracking number is emailed the moment your order ships. Pro account holders can also view every order under your account. If tracking hasn't updated within 2 business days of shipment, contact us and we'll trace the package directly with the carrier.
Can I change or cancel an order after placing it?
If your order hasn't entered the fulfillment queue yet, we can adjust or cancel. Email hello@beautytechdistribution.com with your order number as soon as possible — same-day turnaround is usually possible for orders placed before 2 PM PT.
Returns & exchanges
What is your return and exchange policy?
Returns are processed directly by Lumielina, the manufacturer. Bioprogramming devices are eligible only if received in original condition — packaging intact, seal unpeeled, the unit unused, untested, and resalable. The return window is 8 days from receipt. Any device that has been opened, powered on, or removed from sealed packaging is ineligible.
HairTimecess products are non-returnable once opened. Unopened bottles may be exchanged within 14 days through BTD.

How do I start a return?
Two steps, in parallel:
- Contact Lumielina at customersupport@lumielina.com prior to unpeeling the seal on the outer packaging. Required by manufacturer policy.
- Notify BTD at hello@beautytechdistribution.com within 8 days of delivery with your order number. We log every return and track the correspondence with Lumielina through completion — if the thread stalls, we follow up on your behalf.
You remain the point of contact with Lumielina throughout the return. BTD supports and tracks; we do not act on your behalf with the manufacturer.
Who pays return shipping?
The customer pays return shipping and handling, per Lumielina's policy.
How is my refund issued?
Lumielina offers three options: a merchandise exchange, store credit, or a full refund minus shipping and handling. Refunds are processed up to 15 business days after Lumielina receives and inspects the device at their fulfillment center.
I received a wrong or damaged item — what now?
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the packaging and item. Damaged or incorrect items are replaced free of charge at expedited shipping, no return required.
Warranty
What warranty do the devices carry?
Every Lumielina device sold through BTD carries a 6-month limited manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase, extendable to 18 months if you register your device within 60 days of delivery. Warranty covers manufacturing defects and electrical failure under normal use.
It does not cover cosmetic wear, cord damage, or misuse (drops, water exposure, unauthorized repairs).
How do I register my device?
Device registration is handled directly with Lumielina. Use the serial number on the base of your Repronizer or HairBeauron and register at the Lumielina Bioprogramming Club registration portal. We email a registration link with every device shipment.
My device stopped working — what's the process?
If your device is within the warranty window, email hello@beautytechdistribution.com with your serial number and a short description of the fault. We coordinate the warranty claim directly with Lumielina on your behalf — you don't need to ship internationally. Replacement or repair typically turns around in 10–14 business days.
Are devices sold outside BTD covered?
Devices purchased outside the BTD authorized network are not covered by the US warranty. Grey-market units sold on marketplace sites are often older revisions, unregistered, or counterfeit. The Lumielina US warranty only applies to devices with a BTD order trail.
Technology
What is Bioprogramming™?
Bioprogramming is Lumielina's proprietary field technology. Rather than heating or chemically modifying hair, a Bioprogramming device encodes instructions into a quantum field surrounding the shaft — raising the hair's intrinsic capacity to hold shape, lustre, and tensile strength. What does the D-number in each product mean?
The number preceding D — 3D, 4D, 7D, 27D, 107D — indicates the density of the Bioprogramming field a device generates. Higher D compresses more field work into the same unit of time, giving a higher ceiling of outcome. Density is not linear; each step is a multiplicative raise. The governing equation is P = f(D, t) — performance as a function of density and time.
What is the difference between the Technology series (3D → 107D)?
Each tier is engineered for a different use case:
- 107D — Flagship. Editorial, pro salons, coarse or damaged hair that demands the highest ceiling.
- 27D — Professional. Daily-driver for full pro chairs; fine hair that refuses to hold memory.
- 7D — Bestseller. The most-specified device among Bioprogramming professionals.
- 4D — Foundational. The right entry point for light pro use.
- 3D — Core. The originating density, where Bioprogramming began.
What is Mitsudonose?
Mitsudonose (三度直し) is the pairing of a Repronizer with a HairBeauron during a single service. The two Bioprogramming fields compound on the same hair — one from within the cortex, one from the cuticle surface — producing a P-value neither device reaches alone. Products
What's the difference between HairBeauron Straight and Curl?
HairBeauron Straight uses Bioprogramming-coated ceramic plates to smooth and set the shaft. HairBeauron Curl uses a barrel in one of two sizes — L (1.4″ / 35.5 mm) for soft, full-bodied waves, or S (1.0″ / 25.4 mm) for tight curls and short hair. Both forms share the same density scale and pair identically with Repronizer models.
What does the HairTimecess line include?
HairTimecess is the Hair Care Line arm of the 107D protocol. Four formulas: Lezore (shampoo), Avue (conditioner), Celionne (hair mist), and Curah (scalp essence). They're Bioprogrammed to hold the device-imparted field between salon sessions, extending the P-value across days rather than hours.
Which devices pair best for the Mitsudonose technique?
The cleanest results come from pairing devices of equivalent density — a 7D Repronizer with a 7D HairBeauron, a 107D Repronizer with a 107D HairBeauron, and so on. Cross-tier pairing (e.g., a 107D Repronizer with a 4D HairBeauron) is technically permitted but under-uses the higher-D device. The technique is written into the product naming.
Can I book an info call before ordering?
